What I bought This Month- November

Unfortunately, I won't have a what i bought for november because between gas for my car and christmas shopping I have not shopped for myself since halloween. I know, I don't know how I've made it this far either. But do expect a post for any clothing or items that pertain to this blog sometime shortly after christmas with what I received for christmas! Here's hoping for clothes, clothes, and more clothes!

Also I know the blog has been kind of dormant but I post on my instagram account everyday and trust me those of you who haven't joined instagram yet, you will love it! you can share pictures without all the anxiety and negative feedback you would get on facebook for your more artsy photos. A Little Sparkle Never Hurt Anybody

So I haven't posted in a while and I found the blogger app so I'm testing it out with the pictures from homecoming I put on instagram. I love this dress because it's not the standard black body con dress that you can find everywhere. I like the underskirt that makes it flouncy (that's a word right?) and its fun to spin around in and just me. It has white tulle over the skirt with little black beading and some sparkles up the corset with a black satin tie to create that ever so important waistline. I got a lot of compliments on it and I want to wear it to the next dance! Who cares if it's a repeat? You can't fix what isn't broken right?

Almost there!

Just checking in! I hope you guys with apple products out there are following me on instagram (the only place I can get outfit pics online lately) Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be home for good (aka where my computer is) in 5 short days! Yay! No more boring, inactive blog! I haven't been able to get to the beach barely at all between work and the bad weather, so I might have my beach wear article with a lovely setting of my back yard :/ But I guess I'll take what I can get! Bad News...

So You guys have responded greatly by me making an instagram for the summer until I can get my computer back. Don't worry I'll keeep instagraam up once I get bck to my computer, frankly because I'm addicted now! But I have been using instagram so much and theres going to be a little break. Seeing as how I have used 90% of my data on my phone plan and have 16 days left in the billing cycle, I need to wait until I have wifi (restaurants, gyms, etc) to use instagram. So Its not like there will be no activity for 16 days, it just might not be as regular and consistent. Sorry again you guys, who would have thought it would be so hard to share with you guys! In the meantime I need to make a list of places around here that offer free wifi....

I figured it out!

So I told you guys I would find away to keep this blog somewhat alive and active during the summer and it just hit me. I made an instagram! So now I can show you guys my outfits more than having to wait weeks for me to get home, take pictures, and post them. I am still new and I'm not sure if the lingo is different from facebook but I literally just made it two minutes ago so I'll explore and find out. So add/follow me or whatever instagram calls it at "prettyaffordablefashion". I will try to post a lot of pictures of my outfits, the problem is that I work most days during the week so I don't really have a way or reason to dress up because there is somewhat of a dress code from the board of health. BUT on the positive side its still a great way to keep communicating with you guys! So if you add/follow me, I'll be sure to follow you back! I love to see all of your creations and hopefully we can inspire each other whether it be clothes, hair, makeup, shoes, whatever! I love seeing and hearing from the readers of this blog!

Green Hearts And Just the Right Shoes

So for some reason I'm suddenly finding all this time AFTER vacation to post my pictures? Please someone explain this to me! Anyway we had beautiful weather for a couple days, but as any New Englander knows "If you don't like the weather in New England, wait five minutes". In a matter of a day it had become extremely cold and rainy, so I begrudgingly broke out my tights again and created this outfit. I really like it and think it will become added to the regular outfit ideas in my head. I love how the hearts on the dress and the shoes exactly match in color, but they're so small it isn't obviously "matchy matchy".

I also love the fit of this dress and the cool ruffle collar. 

I want to talk about the power of shoes. These shoes are one of my all-time favorite pairs in my closet. They are really unique and just had to have them when I saw them in Provincetown this summer. They actually go with a lot because there are a mix of color in them. They are real leather everywhere, a stacked wood heel and SUPER comfy for a four-inch heel(which for me, is the absolute height limit). I love these shoes and when I have them on, the day is always awesome, along with my mood. I feel like certain shoes have the power to make you feel that awesome and, in my opinion, it should happen more often!

Easter Sunday (Yes I know I'm a little late...)

Okay so I planned on  posting everyday during my vacation last week but I never had time surprisingly! So I wore this dress Easter Sunday and I loved it! I usually don't wear white because I am so pale but I think with the sweater it's okay. So I've decided that my posts have become too long and ranty for some of you to bother reading so I've devised a plan. I think I will do inner beauty every couple posts so it isn't long everytime! Ahhh Friends....

They make everyday so much better. Which is why I love this photo so much. We took this a couple days ago on 'Decades Day' for spirit week at our high school. Our class was obviously the 1950s. And we definitely put some effort into dressing up! I love that we had this day because I wish we could dress like this all the time. I love the 1950s time period for many reasons, but mostly because of the fashion. I actually made the skirt that I am wearing (3rd in from the right, in the white button up and skirt) from one of my grandmother's patterns she used to use for her skirts when she was young. You can also see quite the characters here, which also translates into another reason I love fashion. You get to be a different person everyday! That is my motto for the clothes I wear. I can seem like a totally different person everyday from just the way I dress. Anyways, this is my first posting and I'm new to the whole blogging thing, so please bear with me and I will improve! I'll try to get the other pictures we took that day up I'm just waiting for my friend to upload them! I will try to post pictures of my outfits as often as I can, but with the heaviest possible class load for a sophomore, I am usually caught up with school! But I will try my darndest to keep some sort of regularity with posts! Thanks for reading!
